We are a 501(c) 3 dedicated to advocating for issues relating to child welfare in Senegal. Our goal lies in bringing the plight of the talibés of Senegal to the world’s attention. In effort to achieve that, we emphasize the idea of collaboration through parterships with Grassroots NGOs in Senegal who prioritize the well being of these children. Kids of Dakar, through immediate involvement or the  provision of funding, will directly assist these organizations in bringing their developemnt and advocacy projects to life.  

 In partnership with its sister organization Kids of Kadiogne, Kids of Dakar hopes to reach out to local and international audiences to engage and persuade them in ensuring that talibés and any other child in the system of forced begging is not subject to exploitation and neglect. Kids of Dakar will relentlessly invest its energy in finding ways to animate a dialogue in local and international communities that would ignite action, and create incentives to address the issue and protect its principle victims: children.
